Meet the cardiologist and scientist behind the groundbreaking Kisel-10 study, which demonstrated a difference in microRNA and telomeres in elderly people who received selenium and Q10 supplements (or a placebo). The results of this study are so distinct and comprehensive, that it led to 20 sub-studies!
Through the Kisel-10 study, 443 Swedish participants between the ages of 70 and 87 received either a placebo or 200mg of BioActive Q10 Gold and 200mcg of SelenoPrecise, every day for four years. Subsequently, one could see the significant differences between the two groups concerning important health markers. In addition to following up on the participants 10 and 12 years after the start of the project, blood samples have been studied and have been able to provide many interesting answers to what difference the two supplements have made on a cellular level.
