Nutrition for Healthy Body Barriers
Gastrointestinal problems, gum disease, inflammatory skin conditions, vaginal discomfort, dry eyes, recurrent urinary tract infections, brain fog... These are just some of the health conditions that can arise because of the breakdown of our body's protective barriers.
This full day seminar will discuss various key functional barriers throughout the body. We’ll look at the factors that can weaken these barriers, and how this loss of barrier integrity can drive chronic illness.
We'll then move on to considering how we can restore barrier health to help manage symptoms and improve quality of life. As always, we'll be focusing on dietary, lifestyle and supplement interventions - and there will be plenty of lively discussion and interaction.
From September 9th, join one of our full-day seminars exploring nutrition's role in maintaining the health of our all-important barriers.

Sue Camp
MSC, B.SocSci (Hons), IFMCP, Registered Nutritionist (BANT) and Registered Nutritional Therapist (CNHC)
Sue’s nutrition journey started when managing a safari camp in Botswana – although she didn’t know it then. She then moved to Windhoek, Namibia and opened a restaurant. She realised her passion was not in the kitchen, but in the application of nutritional science to create health, so sold her business and relocated to the UK to study again.
She completed a BSc and MSc in Personalised Nutrition and then spent 5 years working in Clinical Education with the functional testing laboratories. She completed her Practitioner Certification with the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM) in November 2019. Sue currently runs her own private practice, has consultancy contracts, and leads the nutrition team for the HealthMatters Group in central London.
