    15,000 doctors can't be wrong




    A new large, scientific study finds that it pays off to take a daily multivitamin tablet.

    The study was study was carried 15,000 male doctors who were 50 or older at the time of screening. The doctors were split into 2 groups. 50% received a placebo tablet while the other 50% took a multivitamin. After 11 years, scientists concluded that the doctors who took the multivitamin did 8% better than their colleagues.

    Among the vitamins included in the multi supplement were vitamin C which contributes to the normal function of the immune system, and vitamin E which is involved in protecting cells against oxidative stress. The study has just been published in the prestigious scientific journal JAMA and shows that vitamins are a good supplement to a healthy and balanced diet.
